The tour goes along the Dolomite front of Cortina and around the Col di Lana, the “hill of blood”, symbol of the great war.
Along the way you will also find tunnels and loopholes built by Italian, Austro-Hungarian and German soldiers to face the enemy and life at high altitude during the First World War.
The tour is for everyone, adults and children, either for skiers and snowboarders.
It takes about 7/8 hours, including lunch break and we recommend to start it early in the morning.
To do the Great War tour it is necessary to have the Dolomiti Super Ski Skipass, which entitles you to free use of the skibus service. Taxi-bus and horse sled are subject to charges.
